Smartty Dog

The “rabid dog of right field“, Smartty always managed to out smart a fly ball – (and the rest of the Dogs), managing spectacular catches on rather routine pop-ups. At the plate, lefty Smartty smashed many ferocious line drives (many of them fair balls) rounding first base (on what would otherwise have been a triple). As the season progressed, Smartty was progressively great at post game activities, earning him an MVP (Most Valuable Partier).
